Amaury des Deserts, who covered structured equity and fund-linked sales to Germany and Austria, has left SG Corporate & Investment Banking in Frankfurt. Des Deserts was on gardening leave and could not be reached for comment. Officials at SG said he has not yet been replaced.
Des Deserts is tipped for a role at BNP Paribas, which lost salesman Bernhard Wenger to Morgan Stanley in the summer (DW, 6/23). Des Deserts previously worked for Eric Le Brusq, BNP's head of equities and derivatives sales, at SG. Le Brusq and Jean-Eric Pacini, head of structured product sales at BNP, could not immediately be reached.
