Macquarie Bank's Matthew Long, head of equity derivative sales for Asia in Hong Kong, has left the firm. Long, who helped build up the equity derivative and warrant business in the region and established a desk in Singapore to tackle the growing private banking market (DW, 12/3/04), could not be reached. Officials at the firm said he is taking time out of the industry and is now relaxing in Brisbane, Australia.
Lotte Pang, spokeswoman in Hong Kong, said Long's duties have been assumed by Justin Crawford, equity derivative marketer in Singapore, who has been named head of sales and is now in the process of relocating to Hong Kong.
