Inter-dealer broker LinkBrokers Derivatives Corp., the U.S. arm of Link Asset and Securities Co., has hired Citigroup equity derivatives trader Daniel Lago as head of institutional sales. Reached at Link in New York, he said will cover both over-the-counter and listed equity derivatives and has come on board to help the firm expand its U.S. equity business both into the U.S. and Europe.
At Citi, he reported to Dushyant Chadha, U.S. head of equity derivatives trading. Chadha could not be reached by press time and it could not be determined if Lago has been replaced at Citi.
