Duncan McInnes, managing director responsible for marketing to European corporates at Morgan Stanley in London, has joined Merrill Lynch. He has been tipped to run U.K. structured sales, focusing on asset and liability management, but details of the role could not be determined. McInnes could not be reached for comment and Alex Walker, spokeswoman at Merrill in London, did not respond to messages by press time.
McInnes' hire is understood to plug a gap left by Dawid Konotey-Ahulu and Rob Gardner, senior staffers in the pensions and insurance group who left to start an independent advisory firm last year (DW, 7/14).
Carlos Melville, spokesman for Morgan Stanley, decline comment on regarding a replacement for McInnes by press time.
