David Bizer, head of North American equity sales at Lehman Brothers in New York, is transferring to London for a new role. Bizer starts Monday as head of European fixed income sales, replacing Riccardo Banchetti, who was named chief executive officer for Italy last month. The firm is understood to be replacing Bizer, but Ajay Nagpal, global head of equity sales, and spokeswoman Tasha Pelio, did not comment by press time.
Bizer moved to New York just over a year ago (DW, 10/7/05) and has overseen an expansion of the firm's equity and equity-linked businesses. Bizer, reached in New York last week, declined all comment.
