ISTC feels SIV pain
International Securities Trading Corp, the specialist Irish lender to financial insitutions, announced this week that it would defer payments on some of its obligations and that it had pulled its convertible bond issue, as its liquidity position was strained after it had to write down investments in SIV capital.
