Slovenia sells first 15 year bond to cement ‘core’ status in eurozone

The Republic of Slovenia this week issued its longest dated bond since joining European Economic and Monetary Union in 2007, something it had not expected at such an early stage in its membership. More than its four previous issues, the Eu1.5bn 15 year benchmark has put the credit solidly amongst its eurozone peers.
