Banks moot leverage return in secondary loans market

Banks have been pitching loan total return swaps (TRS) providing two or three turns of leverage to European funds, say fund managers. The move marks a possible return of leveraged financing to loan funds in Europe, a practice absent since the collapse of Lehman Brothers.
