Solar is a ray of light on equity’s grey horizon

As they enter November, bankers in Germany leave behind them one of the most volatile months for equity markets on record. It became clear in October that, even for the companies of Germany’s robust Mittelstand, access to the equity capital market will be severely impaired over the next 12 months. The few equity financings to come this year have been dominated by the solar energy sector. Robert Vielhaber reports.
