Pre-funding set to start if dollar market stays strong
US mid-term elections, expectations of quantitative easing and non-farm payrolls on Friday kept the dollar market firmly closed for SSAs this week but it is expected to re-open on Monday with a seven year global bond from the International Finance Corp (IFC). The deal will mark the borrower’s first deviation from a five year maturity and the first time it has issued two benchmarks in a financial year.
