IMB eyes commercial mortgage deal, but timing key

Australia’s IMB Building Society is mulling a return to the commercial mortgage-backed securities market, more than six years after it last sold a deal. The issuer is talking to potential bookrunners about selling a CMBS deal later this month, but bankers warn that the company will need to wait for the right opportunity before launching the deal.
