IPO calendar shows few signs of filling up
Despite a healthy patch for Asia’s equity markets, fund-raising remains a tough ask. While several issuers have braved the conditions this year, even those that did well saw their fortunes fall quickly in aftermarket trades. Banks’ pipelines remain light right now in terms of deals that can get done and most don’t see a dramatic change until the final quarter of 2009.
