Malmö launches ETMN programme

The City of Malmö launched a Skr10bn ($1.5bn) EMTN programme on November 21 and will use its triple-A status to broaden its funding activities. Nordic issuers saw heavy investor demand for their paper during 2012, with the region viewed as a safe haven away from the troubled eurozone, something from which Malmö hopes to benefit.
