Sterling rush fails to absorb excess investor demand
The European Investment Bank, KfW and Municipality Finance all took advantage of high investor demand for sterling paper this week to sell tightly priced issues. Investor demand is outpacing supply, leaving syndicate bankers to conclude that the buyside capacity exists for a flurry of further deals in the currency.
