Calls grow for restructuring of Irish bank bail-out debt
More sovereign debt restructurings could occur in Europe this year as bailed-out states seek to break the co-dependence between themselves and their stricken banks. Ireland, which spent much of 2012 reasserting itself in capital markets after a spell on the sidelines could be the next candidate to undergo an extension to some of the debt related to the bail-out of its banking sector.
