Periphery marches towards full market access

Peripheral sovereign borrowers’ resurgence back to full market access shows no sign of abating despite the uncertainty surrounding Italy’s political future — a factor that just 12 months ago would have shut the market to the borrower group. Instead, this band of sovereign issuers having enjoyed a vibrant first quarter is planning to pack the rest of the year with new issue highlights and fee-paying syndications.
