FADE prices tightest spread over sovereign in record time

Electricity Deficit Amortisation Fund (FADE) broke two records on Tuesday morning, printing its tightest ever deal over the Spanish sovereign during its quickest book build.

Domestic investors drove demand for the March 2019 benchmark, along with some international accounts eager to get a piece of the spread to Bonos on offer.

“Anything that offers a pick-up to Spain looks good at the moment,” said a banker away from the trade.
