  • There will be a bank meeting next week in New York for the syndication of debt backing the acquisition of Dynamit Nobel. The portions that will be syndicated in Europe will be launched separately.
  • Bank of Scotland and Landsbanki Islands will provide senior and mezzanine debt to support the £110m acquisition of jewellery retailer Goldsmiths by the Baugur Group and Goldsmiths? management.   • The £440m five year loan supporting the merger of media company Informa and academic publisher Taylor & Francis is more than 25% oversubscribed, bankers say. The combined entity is called T&F Informa. ABN Amro and Royal Bank of Scotland are the mandated lead arrangers.
