That deal was a strong comeback for the issuer after negative reports from a research firm resulted in a wide spread sell off of its existing bonds. However its dollar bond will been seen a greater test of investor sentiment towards the issuer.

Despite its novel structure, the dollar deal saw strong demand as investors took to the positive outlook for the high yield borrower, as well as India’s renewable energy sector, and the company was able to close a transaction 10 times the size of its Ebitda.
  • Chilean natural gas terminal operator GNL Quintero (GNLQ) priced its debut 144A/Reg S dollar bond on Thursday, attracting a large order and pricing at the tight end of what observers considered fair value as benign conditions continue to attract LatAm borrowers.
  • Two companies, Orion Engineered Carbons and Expro, have launched loans this week to refinance existing debt in co-ordination with US IPOs.
  • Royal Mail Group's debut €500m 10 year bond tightened as much as 15bp on Thursday after being priced on Wednesday at 108bp over mid-swaps. That was well inside initial price thoughts of 120bp-125bp.
