M&A offers hope to hungry bond investors

Europe’s corporate borrowers have been far quieter this year than they were in 2009. But whenever they decide to wake from their slumber and issue bonds again — perhaps to fund their takeover ambitions — investors will be ready and willing to buy their paper. Paul Wallace reports.
