RBS returns to bank capital market for first time since 2008 with tier two
Royal Bank of Scotland returned to the funding markets late last week for its first standalone bond issue since 2008.
"This was our inaugural group level tier two in euros, and market our return to the euro market," said a banker on the deal. "We've done some liability management and output securities in euros, but this was RBS's first pricing exercise since 2008."
