Ragnarsson to run Icelandic market’s return
Ingvar Ragnarsson last week took up the post of head of funding and debt management for the Republic of Iceland as the country begins its path back to the international capital markets.
His job covers domestic and international funding and rebuilding the markets confidence in Iceland.
Ragnarsson had spent the last 18 months at Landsnet, Icelands electrical grid operator, but he is better known as treasurer at Glitnir, a job he left in June 2008.
