Patrick O’Connell quits BofA-ML

Patrick O’Connell is leaving Bank of America Merrill Lynch and taking early retirement.

O’Connell, who is 42, joined Merrill Lynch from Credit Suisse First Boston in 1995 as a credit trader and joined the syndicate desk in 1998.

He had been head of European syndicate since 2006, with a particular focus on bank capital.
