Primary FIG market suffers sovereign and year end blues

The senior unsecured FIG market was devoid of primary deals again on Tuesday — and very light on secondary trading.

Weak secondary market moves, coupled with liquidity drying up towards year end, has made conditions almost impossible for new senior bank debt issues in euros, say bankers.
