Axe falls at Credit Suisse

Credit Suisse is cutting 5,300 jobs after announcing a Sfr3bn net loss in the first two months of this quarter. Two thirds of the cuts will be from the investment bank and its shared services. The other 2,000 will be spread around regions and departments.
