Life as Bob Diamond’s successor at the helm of Barclays Capital would provide any seasoned banker with a tough challenge. But it’s one that was welcomed by Jerry del Missier, one of the two men now running BarCap and who joined the firm back in 1997. He spoke to Toby Fildes about his conviction in the survival of the eurozone, which asset classes are likely to provide the bulk of this year’s revenues for his industry, and how he thinks BarCap stands out.
