GBSA unveils first Gulf local currency compendium

The Gulf Bond and Sukuk Association (GBSA) this week released what it claimed was the first detailed compendium of the nascent markets for local currency government-issued instruments in the Gulf region.

  • 16 Dec 2011

The summary was compiled with contributions from member institutions across the region. GBSA said the document gathered in one place for the first time all of the conventional and Islamic treasury bills and bonds, certificates of deposit and other instruments available in local money and capital markets.
