Fund manager BlackRock is set to continue its effort to improve best practice in the equity capital markets industry this year after appointing its first head of European ECM. The hire of Rob Leach from SAC Global Investors, first reported by EuroWeek on Monday, marks the fulfillment of an ambition held for some time.
