Gatehouse unfair dismissal hearing delayed, judges seek more time

A hearing in London into unfair dismissal allegations brought against Gatehouse Bank and former colleagues by its former chief operating officer, James Bagshawe, was postponed on Monday after employment tribunal judges decided the case was too big to resolve in the five days that had been allocated to it this week.

The hearing will instead begin on November 19 and could continue until December 4.

Bagshawe has brought employment tribunal proceedings against Gatehouse; its Kuwait-based chairman, Fahed Faisal Boodai; its London based chief executive officer, Richard Thomas; and one other board member.
