Banking union to separate eurozone and EU

As European policymakers work towards a banking union in Europe, the boundaries of the eurozone within the larger European Union will become more pronounced, analysts said on Thursday.

With the UK and other countries which are members of the EU but not part of the single currency unlikely to be willing to sign up to a banking union, eurozone countries will have to decide how far they are willing to go to ensure stability.
