Cyfrowy Polsat cuts interest with early repayment

Polish digital TV provider Cyfrowy Polsat has made an early Z200m ($60m) repayment to its Z1.4bn ($418m) acquisition financing facility signed in March 2011.

The move is expected to lower the remaining principal and interest payments on the loan, Polsat said in a statement. Final payment is due on December 31 2015.

“The early repayment does not affect any provisions of the term loan agreement,” the firm added.
