Hera gets attention with €700m 15 year

Hera, the Italian energy, water and waste treatment group, enjoyed strong demand on Tuesday for the first Italian corporate bond of 2013, apart from FGA Capital’s very short dated tap the previous day.

While Iberdrola’s bond on Monday proved a slightly tougher sell than lead managers of peripheral European corporate issues had become used to, Hera’s was an easier ride — perhaps just because investors have had enough Spanish paper for a while and were happy to see some from Italy.
