I hadn’t thought of this ruse and so I shouted over to the MD of Inn Securities: "Hey! What was my fourth quarter bonus again?" "It was somewhere between a negative value and zero." "Ok, can you delay that payment until April 7th so I pay just 45% tax on it rather than 50%?" "Sure. Whatever you want."
