LatAm prepares for flock of first-timers

Four potential first-time Latin American borrowers —three of them high yield — began roadshows this week, looking to take advantage of a tightening in US Treasury rates and a receptive bond market.

The latest to announce was Fresnillo, the world’s largest silver producer and the second largest gold mining company in Mexico. Although listed in the UK, Fresnillo is headquartered and operates in Mexico.
