Rehabilitation of UK stocks gathers steam

Two more trades on Thursday night crowned off a busy week for block trading in London, fuelled by a rally of UK equities since the start of the year after the country secured a trade deal with the European Union at the end of 2020.

Investors have been underweight UK stocks since the country voted to leave the European Union in June 2016 due to concern that Brexit will weigh on UK economic growth.

The pandemic has also hit the UK hard. England and Scotland are currently in their third national lockdowns ...
