Cowles joins start-up aiming to revolutionise cross-border payments system

Payments start-up RTGS.global has hired Jim Cowles, former chief executive of Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Citi, to be an executive director of the board.

RTGS.global aims to change the way cross-border payments work. It reckons it can provide transparency over liquidity when banks make cross-border transactions, helping both the banks themselves and central banks.
