Equity markets healthy despite pandemic threat

Equity capital markets bankers are hoping to get back to work soon after a pause in issuance on Monday because of secondary market fears over the spread of the coronavirus.

There were few deals in the market on Monday night, save a £40.6m transaction in IntegraFin Holdings, a financial technology company. Equity capital markets bankers say the reason for fewer trades was a market sell-off in reaction to the growing threat of the coronavirus.
