Loungers prices IPO to boost UK mid-market investors

Bar chain Loungers priced an £83m IPO on Wednesday, providing a rare boost for UK mid-cap funds who have been bereft of deals because of Brexit.

Liberum Capital and Peel Hunt were bookrunners on the Loungers IPO as well as being Loungers’ corporate brokers.

The company sold 30.8m new shares and 10.8 existing shares, sold by  private equity firm Lion Capital, at £2 a share.

Its stock will be admitted to the London AIM Exchange ...
