Emirates Airlines loan syndication takes flight

Dubai’s Emirates Airlines is syndicating a 12 year loan, less than six months after wooing bond investors to print a sukuk inside fair value.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is running the loan syndication process, which is due to wrap up by the end of September, according to a source close to the transaction.

The deal has been pre-funded, with the proceeds used for aircraft that have already been delivered, said the source.
