The Bank of England has released a set of principles, laying out new standards of practice for UK money markets.

The code is part of an attempt to mend the reputation of the integrity of money markets, following a series of high profile Libor rigging scandals. It aims to increase the accountability of senior managers of financially regulated firms, making senior management “responsible for governance and risk management”.
