'Big initial flow' ends as FIG anticipates TLAC-heavy 2017

The year’s initial rush of FIG issuance subsided this week, but market participants are already positioning themselves for heavy supply of bail-inable senior bonds in later busy issuance windows.

One syndicate banker said he was aware of two potentially imminent covered bond transactions, as well as a possible senior unsecured deal from a peripheral issuer, though he was unsure the latter would surface in the next few sessions.
