Diversification drives Bharti to multiple markets

Bharti Airtel emerged as a savvy issuer this past year, successfully diversifying into euros and Swiss francs, while hitting a number of milestones along the way. A ratings upgrade and strong macro environment helped the opportunistic borrower to issue nearly $3bn of bonds and there may well be more to come, writes Virginia Furness.
