B&M escapes UK retail IPO woe with value offering
B&M Value Retail’s newly issued shares have traded up over 8% on their debut on the London Stock Exchange after the firm completed its IPO on Thursday morning. Although some IPOs from the UK retail sector have struggled this year, equity capital markets bankers argue that there is still plenty of appetite for the value end of the market.
