France moots Eu3bn La Poste IPO
The French government is considering a partial privatisation of the country’s postal service, La Poste, in a deal that would value the company at around Eu10bn. The IPO could put up to 20% of the state-owned company into freefloat in a Eu2bn-Eu3bn deal and comes as Europe is working on the liberalisation of its postal services in 2011.
