Credit Suisse’s Calello takes break for treatment

Eric Varvel is to take over as acting chief executive of Credit Suisse’s investment bank arm after Paul Calello steps down temporarily for medical treatment. Varvel retains his duties as chief executive of the Europe, Middle East and Asia region based in London. Calello plans to remain as involved as he can be in the business during his treatment.
