BBVA keeps fees down as Eu5.1bn rights issue follows ‘first class’ Garanti acquisition

BBVA signed up eight bookrunners to underwrite a Eu5.1bn rights issue to support the acquisition of stake in Turkey’s Garanti bank that it announced on Tuesday. The line-up has been put in place despite the skinny fees on offer.
