Cantor to buy Irish broker and hire 200 in European expansion

Cantor Fitzgerald plans to double its European headcount over the next two years in a push to expand its investment bank operation. And, in what would be a striking signal of its ambitions in the region, it also hopes to buy an Irish broker-dealer.
