Mediclinic completes R5bn rights issue

Mediclinic’s R5bn ($568m) rights issue was 99.7% subscribed, the company said on Monday. The South African private healthcare company, which is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, will use proceeds from the deal to support a R28bn loan refinancing.
