Citi’s EM focus: it’s in the DNA

William Weaver was a founding member of Citi’s CEEMEA DCM team in 1997, and has been its head for the last five years. He spoke to EuroWeek’s Francesca Young about the new challenges for emerging market bankers such as US Treasury rate rises and EM fund outflows, where he sees promising areas of growth in the CEEMEA bond business — and how Citi plans to harness it.
