Australia to maintain long dated issuance

SSA Markets understands that the Australian Office of Financial Management intends to maintain the extended maturity curve it established this week with further issues of 17 year bonds. Australia pushed its curve out by two years on Wednesday by issuing A$3.26bn in April 2029 bonds. It’s previous longest deal was an April 2027 bond issued last October.
